Hi guys I’m removing the starter battery from the engine bay and replacing it with a lithium battery in my canopy which will also be my accessory battery I’m wondering what to do with the voltage sensor on the negative terminal?
I was initially just thinking of hooking it back up on the lithium battery connecting it up with just a longer couple of wires I believe my vehicle has the smart alternator switched off so is there some way I can delete this without having the red light on my dash

For a PX1 I cannot answer. I have never been in a position to see if there is a work around.

But ideally disabling "Battery Monitor Sensor" in the BCM would mean you can remove the sensor as models without the sensor have this disabled. This is also the setting to change between smart charge on and off.

What battery are you going to use. I didnt think there were any Lithium batteries that could be used for starter motor use, especially on a diesel.

Well I’m thinking if you don’t know and Google don’t I’ll just wire it back up.
Thanks for the reply
