Hi all and Stewart.
Have already made a few posts here so better do the right thing.
I live in Berwick ( must be near SAEB I guess so may be able to lend my car for testing if you need one ).

My ute is a 2017 XLT Dual Cab, with Tech Pack
Used to have a Prado D4-D with all the fruit, bullbar, lift, snorkel etc
But I love the Ranger so far
It is still bog standard except for simple stuff like a lightbar, Global seat covers and 3D mats, oh and a second 80AH battery behind the rear seat.

I've taken the sidesteps off to give a bit more clearance in the bush. Enough for all the offroading I do these days. May do a 2" lift later on.

I'll put BFG K02 tyres on it when the original tyres wear a bit, but man those things are scary in the wet, so they may go sooner. Probably go up a size to 265/70 R17.

We do a lot of camping up in the Vic High Country, we love it up there.

I was considering either a canopy or hard top but I love the versatility of the open tray for carrying large tall items. Plus I want to keep the vehicle weight down so I can tow a bigger caravan if I want to. We will see.

As far as Forscan mods go, at the moment all I want to do is just put it in silent mode, to stop the battery going flat when camping.
