Hi everyone, what are your takes on the leather seats in the XLT ford ranger what are the do’s and don’t on these seats to keep them in good shape ? My 2018 XLT double cab has 9000km on the clock now and was wondering if I should use a leather care on the seats. They have a few creases in them but nothing really to stop that from happening.

I have 22500ks on mine and have never touched them. The only real problem I see is when getting out, the side folds down from your right leg and may eventually wear and split. But that part isn't leather.

That is a common issue but a lot have had it repaired under warranty.

O I really really hope that does not happen to my seat because I saw on older models that happens. That is the reason I wondered if there is a way to take care of the seats to prevent it from happening. I did however see that ford did change the seat material somewhere along the line because my leather seats look a lot different from that of an 2016 XLT really hope they made it stronger. I know you can buy the lower cover separate but the hassle to get it changed
