Hi all.
I have a 2017 XLT and swapped out the Ford towbar for a Haymen Reece towbar as they sit a bit higher.
Now I want to find out if a 265/70R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3 will fit within the towbar and chassis.
Anyone with experience please.
Regards,
Chris.

I'm running Toyo Open Country 285/65R17 and they just fit. That size works out just a half millimeter smaller diameter than yours. I run a Milford bar, but it too sits up higher and the hitch receiver goes all the way through and protrudes out a little bit towards the spare tyre. It's tight, but doesn't contact.

I reckon it will fit, no problems.
I had the standard Hayman Reese bar, swapped it out for their X-Bar which is much bigger.

Then changed the stock 18" tyres to LT275/65R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3 and had to cut off the bracket on the back of the diff and relocate the cables.
A bit of fiddling around getting the wheel up but it just fits.
Can get you some photos of what I did if you like?

Hi everyone,
please does anyone know if a Bf Goodric Mud Terrain KM3 265/75 R16 Tyre fits in the spare wheel well (with original tow bar)?

Thank you

I have BFG KO-2 285/70R17 +30 offset tyres and ROH alloy rims and they still fit, I did have to relocate the wiring loom that goes to the electric differential though as it would have possibly rubbed on the tyre.
I carry two spares for the Wildtrak, the other is on the cabin roof rack, I'd hate to have to do a tyre change on a wet muddy road if the only spare I carried was under the tub.
