Disconnect battery and the trip name on the cluster changed

Disconnected the battery last week and the auto down on the drivers window stopped working now I guess that it just needs to relearn the positions. Can some help with that for a PX 11? For some reason the manual in my ranger was for a PX 1

Also the name in the cluster changed for the trip, it now reads trip 1 and 2
It did read trip computer previously
Is there a setting for the name change?

Ignition on. Hold driver's switch down and keep holding until approx 5 seconds after it has finished going down then hold it up until about 5 seconds after it is finished closing. It should now be sorted.

Cluster. Change language back to english Aus in vehicle settings.

Thanks that sorted it all out !!

One thing I never get is how they cant make the raido remember the pre set stations but the gps remembers all your previous destinations and the trip computer remembers the kms

Different items in Sync are set to persisant and are written to file. Radio stations are held in a different module ACM and not the Sync unit.

Well my issues where worked out with the above thanks Saeb.

But now after disconnecting the batt again this week I have a different issue.
When the key is in and turned to the time and outside temp are displayed on the sync screen but as soon as I start the car the outside temp goes away and just has 2 dashes.
Also if I click on the time to go into the menu the time then also displays 4 dashes.

Anyone had this happen before?

Both the time and outside tempo display in the cluster correctly.
Changing the time or the display temp in the menu doesn't do anything either.

I will assume these may sort them selves out after a couple of ignition cycles, otherwise no, I have not seen it before on Sync itself.

Also reading back, change your langauge in the instrument cluster should bring all name conventions back to normal again.

After driving for a while the temp will come up bit once you turn the key off and restart it the temp is not there anymore.

Very odd

I wont touch it for a few days and see if it sorts its self out I guess
