Decided to take a few days off and go away.
One thing I noticed today is that my cruise control is incrementing by 1kph.
No I could have sworn it used to be 2kph increments. Can anyone confirm this, 2015 onwards. Did it change, am I dreaming, did one of my module updates the other month change this?
I'm sure it has changed though and it's nice to be able to change it be 1kph.

On mine when I set the speed if it happens to be an odd figure the first time I increase or decrease the speed it changes by a single kph but after that it changes by 2 kmh.

You're not imagining things, definitely in 2kph increments.
Mine hasn't been updated as I never see Ford (independently serviced).

Dealer update changed mine about 6 months ago. Used to be 2kph increments. Now it's 1kph.

Maybe post some module calibration numbers from Forscan so we can work out which module it is. I assume it will be the CCM which I updated recently.
I used to also have the odd figure issue, hence why I wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

Mine changed from 2 to 1 increments recently. I think when Ford did a pcm update.

Checked again.
If I am doing 73kph and press it, it goes up 1kph
If I am doing 74kph and press it, it goes up 2 kph.
So odds =1kph and evens = 2kph

The models we refer to as "2018" models are of course 2017 models.
Built before December 31, 2017 then plated and sold after January 1, 2018
Of course cars built in 2018 are still 2017 spec cars.
Real 2018 models will be available in August/September.

Thinking that the vehicles here that have the 1kph increments may have had a firmware update on the CCM at some stage. There was an update for the CCM with vehicles complaining of the front sensor CCM cracking the sads. I posted a TSB about it a few weeks ago, I may or may not be running Ranger firmware though. This is the radar sensor on the front of the vehicle.
The SCCM sends command to CCM which sends data to IPC. I did some module updates about a month ago so have only noticed now.
If anyone wants 1kph increments then advise dealer that cruise control keeps failing with errors on the cluster while driving. Tell them you have been advised there is an update to the CCM firmware and please update. Keep posted if this change sorts this.
ROSSPAT - I get 1kph anywhere in the range.

Mine used to go up in 2 kph increments on even numbers and just one if I started on an uneven number the same as RossPat. However, I checked mine today and since the last service at Ford (they did a PCM upgrade plus other updates of some sort) it now just goes up in 1 kph increments. It must be something Ford did at the last service. Doesn't bother me though, I think it's better.

Same here. Used to have 2kph increments on even numbers. Now everything is 1kph and I hate it.
Seems pointless asking Ford service guys as they usually have no idea what effect the updates they make actually cause, or is that just my local dealer...

I tried it again today and its now going up in 1kph. I haven't changed anything, I havent plugged in forscan and haven't been to the dealer. I have done absolutely nothing to it but for some reason it was going up in 1kph increments on my way home.
I turned it off and on, set it at an odd and even numbers but could not get it to go up in 2kph like it did before.
I think there is something else going on here. Maybe there is some setting that if you turn it on at a certain speed it defaults to either 1kph or 2kph and once it's set it will stay until the car is turned off. Or some other random conditions.
Because I'm totally baffled why it was 2kph a few days ago and today it's 1kph with nothing changed.

Rang my dealer and asked about an update to change the increments from 2 to 1.
He said they have always been 2 and are supposed to be 2.
If they have changed to 1 he has no idea why.
I bet if I could be bothered to ring other dealers I would get a different answer.

Mine used to be 2 kph as well. Went in for 45k service and now has 1 k increments. I asked my dealer and he said that they didn't update anything. Fills me with confidence about their servicing

Interesting, mine is still 2kph increments and I have my wifi turned off!
I turned it off because for a couple of months when I went from reverse to drive the picture of the rear camera would stay on the screen for about 10 seconds. I asked my dealer about it and he said that his did the same thing. Then about a month ago it started working normally again and hasent played up since!

Stewart,
Is there a step in the CCM calibration where you can set the increment?

I believed it was from when they updated the IPC for me to remove the chimes. The CCM was not updated and is the same version as it was before it went in for a service. I had read on the Everest Facebook page the 1kph increment happened when others asked for the chimes to be removed by the dealers so was expecting it to happen. IPC was EB3T-14C026-CC before service and EB3T-14C026-CE afterwards and it changed from 2kph to 1kph as a result. The update also enabled the Power Distribution screen to display, but only with rear wheels.
