Hi Forum Members,
Fitted a PS4x4 bullbar on weekend all went well with fitment checked for any codes during & after, mounted radar then disconnected front sensor loom permanently & digital attenna still connected.
So when everything was completed started ranger up & orange engine light come on.
Connected forscan in DTC-(Code:UO401invalid data received from ECM/PCM A) & (Code:P007D charge air cooler temperature sensor circuit high ( bank 1).
I cleared dtc's but they return & engine run's & drives but engine is derated (this is the problem) with DTC'S or without, all wiring looks good & connection's too intercooler etc looks fine, if someone can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated with gifts & cash😁 thxs in advance Rod.

You have not plugged the intercooler temp sensor plug back in. Front passenger side of intercooler from memory.

Take off top plastic radiator cover and see what you can see. Not in a position to look right as this minute.

Unplug and plug back in again, make sure plug is clean. Otherwise you may have damaged the wires running to it.

Doubtful the sensor is faulty all of a sudden, personally have not heard of one fail.

Read the CAC temp PID in Forscan, it will be in PCM and see what value it is showing in degrees.

I will look to replicate the exact PCM DTC on the bench sometime over the weekend if you have not resolved before hand. Should give you a better idea of what to look for.

P007D is a symptom of the sensor not being plugged in or loom wire from the sensor cut completely. Tested on the bench an hour ago.

I'm not in a position to grab pin outs right now but can tomorrow. You are aware that the PCM sucks to get to and work on if you are back tracing?

Morning Stewart, After much plug testing voltage/continuity to no avail checked all fuses, l was getting no readings for intercooler sensor on live streaming PID's ,when other sensors were live, so in the end l plugged front parking sensor back together & up comes intercooler PID's must be getting power source back through parking sensor plug? cleared all dtc's run a self demand test & have taken for test drive all OK, thankyou Stewart for your time & Knowledge Rod.

Thanks for the update Rod. Thought I had replied but seems not.

Assuming you only unplugged the large plug near the horn, I can see no reason how or why it should affect the sensor, basically it shouldn't as it would not reach the shared loom until around the battery area.

Glad you had a positive outcome either way.
