Have a 2016 XLT with 41000 km on the clock.
Today when pulling into the driveway at work, it started making a soft squeak when turning the steering wheel. Sound like something is rubbing, kind of like the sound R2D2 makes in the original starwars, but soft. Does this when driving and when stationary and turning the steering wheel.
Can’t feel any play in the steering column. Just wonder where to start to make it shut up.

Also, for a long time, it has sounded like someone is trying to softly whistle when engine revs hit from 1500rpm to 2000-2500. Sounds like it’s in the dash somewhere on the drivers side???
Anyone have thoughts?

My car has 126k km and no steering wheel noise. Is it possible it has foreign matter in it? Children?

The other noise may be leak in the intercooler system when boost is high. Common for them to have a split in top intercooler hose.
