Have a new Everest Trend coming in a couple weeks, as they have deleted the Sub fromt he 21.25 I've picked up a complete box/sub/amp from the wreckers, intend to install an after market sub and 5 channel amp in a while, but in the short term assuming the wiring loom is still there can the factory sub option be enabled on the Sync 3 unit and I can just plug in the complete unit?

Will need to be enabled in the ACM, Sync 3 has no relevance. Post saved ACM asbuilt.

ACM Pic below, was in a rush so didnt save the file before just took a pic with the phone but can do tomorrow.

Have all teh audio gear ready to go in on the weekend hopefully so am wanting to activate the sub out if possible and also seen I can convert all outputs to line level, which if possible will be perfect.

Are the below changes all I need to do?

This mod can be done with FORScan w/ODBLink MX Adapter:
727-01-01 xx59 F8x8 xxxx - Enables Line Level with Optional Subwoofer (Aux 1) and Front Center (Aux 2) Outputs Enabled*
727-01-02 00xx - Disables Factory EQ Processing
(ACM As-Built)

* This string breaks down as follows:
5 = Variable Line Level Audio Output
9 = Enable External Subwoofer (AUX 1) and Internal Amplifier (Aux 2) (0 - Disable)
F = Disable Open Speaker Circuit Detection (w/Active FM Radio Antenna - Otherwise use a D)
8 = Front Tweeters Present
8 = Aux 1 Type: Mono Subwoofer and Aux 2 Type: Front Center

Found some extra info for 2017/18+ cars, can easily get the line level activated and get rid of the factory EQ.

Can activate the sub but dont get a seperate volume control for it anywhere in Sync so doesn't really help, will just have to do it with the amp.
