Some misc changes for Sync 3 only if anyone wants to check them in our vehicles.

I have listed what is of use to everyone, this is not my work. Thanks can go out to a Russian crew, whos's hardware/software made it quick and easy to find the features and also the F150 forum in the states for writing this up.

I do not have Sync 3 so cannot test and cannot answer questions. Sync 3 does not support certain functions while in motion and it never will.

Just a quick one Stewart you may know ? Do you know the as built for the anti hijack ?ive just bought the mk3 RS focus so I thought maybe it would be the same asbuilt code ? And is it bcm or ipc thanks in advance

As far as I know the Focus used CC programming unless it has changed over in the latest release.

When you try to open the asbuilt do you get every module list like in a Ranger or only a minimal amount of modules? Is it showing the IPC as a backup of the BCMii?

PM me some screen shots if you like showing the asbuilt modules, how many blocks in each module and save the module list file that shows the part numbers or even just a VIN may be enough for me to give a clear answer.

Resolved by PM. Focus has a mix of old and new programming techniques. IPC, BCM is old and APIM is new.

Works well on 08/17 Everest trend, tried most splash screens.

im yet to find any features that dont work while driving, I can type in addresses and use all menus can also use all android auto features? I am chasing a nav update as my maps are 2015 and Ford keep saying there is no sync3 updates for Ranger as yet? you would think maps would be every year at the minimum with the sync 3 bugs maybe more updates

Possible if your Sync 3 has been updated. Changing the country code in the APIM does allow all features while driving now like Sync 2 does from what I understand but I have not tested this.

anyone know what the configurable splash screen is?

From memory I do not believe it does anything.

Would be good if the configurable splash screen was an upload type feature where you could have your own photo/theme display.
