Hi I have a 2016 Ford Ranger XL manual, recently I upgraded its sync1 4" screen to the sync3 8" system. Everything works. However I also just added an OEM reverse camera and have wired it up to the unit but cannot get it to come on when I put the car in reverse. I am wanting to enable/activate the reverse camera in forscan but am unsure what changes to make. My guess is that I need to get an As Built file for a newer manual ranger with sync3 and load it in. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Depends what vehicle it was out of and whether you have manual or auto and what it was out of, asbuilt changes are generally required an simple settings like this will look for a totally different canbus message for reverse.

Hi, thank you for your response. I managed to get it working, downloaded as built data for a newer model with sync 3, manual, reverse camera etc and changed my APIM to match.
