Bit of a left field question. I picked up a set of 18" Everest wheels that match my vehicle, with the intention of building a trailer for camping/dirt biking/helping people move house etc. I'm looking at building a dual axle flat tray style trailer, and when I went to a trailer parts supplier in Brisbane and the Electric brake drum don't fit into the Everest rims. Almost but no cigar. Apparently this is often the case with OEM rims, so the guys at the shop told me.
Has anyone done a trailer build with the standard rims or know where I might be able to get some that will fit???

Looking at the ALKO site they list all their hubs with the various common stud patterns but also list them as available blank.
They say" AL-KO manufacturer a wide range of trailer hubs and can accommodate just about any wheel drilling pattern."
So I would think they may be able set up some hubs for you.

I built my trailer with the same stud pattern as the ranger (also land cruiser etc)
I don’t see why you can’t get different hubs. Buy the axle and either change the hubs or look round and somebody will do them.
If you get stuck and need sizes of axle etc give Taylor’s Trailers in Cairns a call. They will tell you everything about everything and recommend what to do what fits and most importantly what’s legal!
Remember if you build a dual axle or a brakes trailer you’re going to need to be heavily compliant with ADR and you are going to need to go for engineering and brake testing.
If you don’t need to go double axle don’t it’s a messy complicated process.
If you are keen on doing double axle jump on trailerplans.com.au I found this site after I already built my trailer and they have full cut lists, adr compliance and engineering notes.
For a couple bucks you’ll save yourself hours of headaches

Generally it's not the stud pattern that causes issues, it's the bore hole size and snout size on the hub.
I built a trailer with 1600kg axles. The snout was way too big to fit through the centre cap hole on the Ranger rim. Lower rated axles should work.
You can order the hubs machined to suit the 93.1mm Ranger/Everest rather than the standard 110mm (?) Landcruiser hubs.
