1. Ford's systems are screwed (most likely)
2. Ford thinks they update my system when they haven't (less likely - only been there for the recalls, not servicing)
3. Someone guessed or found my VIN to get the update file themselves (least likely - bought car new, so VIN never advertised anywhere)

OK, so I've got a 2017 XLT, so it has Sync3, and the current version is v2.2.

I've been waiting for days and days now, for Ford to send me the update link. I've requested it multiple times from the Owner's portal (car has been in there since bought new in September 2017), and just realised that Ford already thinks I have v3.0 (see screenshot below)!

I'm guessing one of three things has happened:

Does anyone have any suggestions as to any other way I can get hold of the v3.0 update zipfile, please?

I did mine once, went to the Ford owners website and filled in the details.
Once that was done I had the option to download the update file with easy to follow instructions.
From memory it was about 600mb.
Unzip to a flash drive and install, make sure you put the files on the flash drive correctly.
When you plug the drive into the car just wait a while, it can take some time to start.
