Ok, this will change the soft touch on your indicators to flash your desired flashes when changing lanes. Default is 3 and is not enough in my books.

SCCM

724-01-01 xxxx-x*xx-xx

4 = 2 flashes
6 = 3 flashes
8 = 4 flashes
A = 5 flashes
C = 6 flashes
F = 7 flashes

Enjoy

Nice find, seems to be a lot of cool little tweaks in forscsan, i wish the left hand screen could have functions that are on right screen, i find everything almost useless in the left hand screen.

When I change mine and try to save it there is a checksum warning message.

Is that normal?

There is always a checksum message with any change unless you change the checksum. Forscan will recalculate and fix for you if you press ok.

I was going to change mine to 5 flashes but noticed the digit to change on mine is currently a "7".
Your posts above dont have a 7 = 3 flashes so I am hesitant to change it in case mine is different or something.??

Use A or B in your case.

Just check auto cancel works, it is does not then use the opposite.

Hi, I just bought a 2019 US Lariat. I tried these changes, same ones I did on my Fusion, but it doesn't work I tried a few different numbers but it still stayed at 3. It did write and keep what was entered but no change in the number of flashes.

Hi mate and welcome, PM me your VIN, I would be interested to see some specific info about the US model and will look at the issue you are having.

Flat out tomorrow but will endeavour look at over the weekend.

You forgot to add the entry for those of us who dislike the extra flashes and want it only to flash while held. 2 for 1 flash.

Also pretty sure your F for 7 should be E as all of the others have bit 0 unset:

2 = 1 flash
4 = 2 flashes
6 = 3 flashes
8 = 4 flashes
A = 5 flashes
C = 6 flashes
E = 7 flashes

On my biturbo XLT it had 7 for 3 flashes from factory, ie. bit 0 defaults to set (Logzy reported the same above). So for the 2.0l XLT at least it would seem to be:

3 = 1 flash
5 = 2 flashes
7 = 3 flashes
9 = 4 flashes
B = 5 flashes
D = 6 flashes
F = 7 flashes

I set mine to 3 for 1 flash and now it stops flashing as soon as I let go. Nice one, thanks.

Correct. E or F will work.

You will find your first list is used on all PX2 and the bottom on all PX3 although it does not affect the other options in the XXxx byte anyway so both are safe to use.

The Super duty model I had back in 2012 back home (US) had 3 flashes by it self and 6 with the trailer hooked up. Does the ranger have something similar to this? Btw thank you Stewart for all your hard work and R&D

You cannot enable or implement something that does not exist in the firmware in the first place. So no, it cannot be done.
