Anyone here had the panel around the gear lever off and paid any attention to how much free cable (if any) is on the TC/Hill descent/Park sensor button group?
I'd like to mount something else in that area that'll obstruct them so I'd like to move them a little closer to the gear lever.

A liitle bit of movement. Just extend the wires if need be, it won't be an issue.

I'm just wondering how Ford will react in the event of any warranty claim if I extend the wires.

Think they have bigger things to worry about. Wrap in cloth tape and you won't notice yourself that you modified it. None of it is canbus based So is not really a concern.
