SSM 46305 - 2015-2017 Ranger Vehicles Built up to 20-Aug-2016 – Key-in Ignition Warning Chime Disable Procedure

2015-2017 Ranger vehicles built up to 20-Aug-2016 have the key-in ignition warning chime enabled in production. Should a customer request the chime to be disabled, technicians are advised this may be performed using IDS software version 103.04 or later. To complete the service procedure please ensure that the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) software is at the latest available level using module reprogramming. Once complete, perform an As-Built data update. Please note that a network connection is required and when asked if directed by another process, tocheck the “No” box and select automatic entry. Dealers are advised that this procedure is non-reversible and this information should be conveyed to the customer prior to the procedure being carried out. SSM: 46305
