Hi I am having issues with my Alarm going off randomly on my 2015 Px 2, I set it to Perimeter only when exiting but it still goes off, happens at least once a week that I know of, Wife says she hears it more often than me, seams to shut off after 30 or so seconds, Battery is fully charged so is not the issue, any one have any ideas, has always done it from new but more often now. can I turn the interior sensors off or perimeter sensors off to see which ones are causing the issue.
regards Ian

Hi Stewart, have checked the Alarm with forscan and the last 4 events are 2 Tilt Detected alarm evt, and 2 Interior Motion Detected, I may of forgotten to turn on Perimeter only a couple of times ( my Bad ) but what could be setting off the tilt detection ? Is there a way I Can check the date and times of these events so I can work out where my car may of been when the tilt alarms may of been triggered.
cheers Ian

Tilt for me happens if I jack the car up[ and forget to unlock the vehicle. Because of the sensor it uses I could not see it as being faulty or you you have other DTCs also.
Interior sensor is usually a fly or moth. Happened twice last week and I eventually found the moth.
From memory the interior sensor cannot be disabled through asbuilt so drop the map light assembly from the front and unplug the wire for the sensors to disable in full. Otherwise we can disable the system in full also I have never tested it, send me saved BCM asbuilt or VIN and can advise change.

Thanks Stewart, I might monitor it for awhile to see if the tilt is activated again, this one worries me as it could of been someone tampering. Would be good if we could check dates when the tilt was activated. someone tried to break in to it when we were in Darwin last year, smashed right hand passenger window, damaged door, Canopy and tub $4000 damage, could this of set off a tilt.
cheers Ian.

Vehicle modules cannot monitor nor store dates.
High winds could be enough to set it off depending on how the vehicle is parked but still doubtful.
