For those that have the DRL pigtail kit or for those not wanting to play with asbuilt data.

Here is a demonstration on for example how you would enable DRL's on your existing Fog Lamps. If you have the pin kit you would select "10 - Dedicated DRL" instead of Fog Lamps.

This will be my normal process, including the clearing of any DTCs. This comes from a good practice point of view when working with immobilisers and a DTC could be one thing that can make replacement keys/remotes fail.

As you can see multiple changes at once are possible. All items work correctly and the information has been supplied and tested by myself with exception to the APIM where I have not had changes made. The non asbuilt on the APIM is for Sync2 only so do not use on a Sync3 or you will have issues, again this applies to the APIM only and not other modules. Hopefully there will be some changes soon so as to recognise what version of Sync the vehicle is using.

hi stewart, you seem to have access to more modules than I have. I downloaded the SBL file and can see the BCMii and the apim but don't have the same amount of configuration as you. ive selected my fog lights to be set as drls but they don't seem to be working like that. also set my navigation to allow inputs while driving but it has turned off the emergency assist and the warning is really annoying. can you help pls?

Looking at your profile you have a PX2 and there should not be a reason to download any SBL for a PX2 only PX1.

Can you advise vehicle model, build etc.

Have the menus in the non asbuilt BCM DRL sections changed from what is in the video? I don't have the first option where i can select what light to run as DRL. It only has enable and disable parts? am i missing something?

What version of Forscan are you using?

Maybe a screen shot also if you can.

I am running the latest version available on the forscan website and using a USB ELS27 dongle (was recommended by yourself a while ago). I have attached a screenshot of the BCM page and the startup up page so you can see what modules i am having access to. It currently has the parking lights on as DRL's which is better than nothing but was hoping to use the fog lights as well. Thanks for any help you can give.

Year/Month of vehicle please. There are some cleanups happening at the moment regarding these options which I expect to see in the next release.

For now do a manual BCM asbuilt change.

I had my first play with forscan today with the help of the video I enabled park lights as Drl's. Now the Led's in the bullbar and park lights light up as Drl's.
Was a bit disappointed after I purchased the FX4 to find out no Drl's bah that's how it is. Anyway thanks for your hard work and the information you are supplying to every 1 so we can do what we do.
Gonna play with the battery charge thing next I run the battery flat way to easy when installing the light bar nothing like the old click click click when turning the key.

Is it not showing up? Worked on a Raptor yesterday and it was there so if not then try the latest version of Forscan.

Just be sure that light switch is in auto position and when DRL is ticked they will work as normal.

i want to set my parks as DRL until I have some dedicated DRL's. But parks dont appear to be an option?

In your info a see an XL 2017 PX2, I thought that was SYNC 3.

I think I read when it downloaded my modules that it said sync 1??? I have the small 4in dash screen.

I’ve been able to enable Daytime lights with park lights only, the latest forscan doesn’t give the option of any other lights. Fog lights only is what I was hoping for.

Please see attached photo Has anyone been able to get around this?
