Hi guys!
I am finding the way to add Center Speaker for my Ford Ranger wildtrak model 2017, Do anyone have ideas for wiring an audio signal to this center speaker? Is it necessary to enable the hidden feature for the center speaker function with the forscan software? thankyou ^^

Unsure if the wiring is even there for a Ranger. If not then pigtails will also need to be added to the ACM plug so it can be wired in.

Forscan changes will also be required to activate.

I have info on both but need to find some spare time to pull wiring and asbuilt to post.

I have undertaken the same. Added pins to no 8 & 20 on ACM harness.

Changed 727-01-01 xxx* xxxx to 9

Not working currently. Any suggestions?

My collected internet info says setting 727-01-01 xxx* xxxx xxxx to 9 means you're activating the AUX2 speaker cct (and AUX1 will go to an external sub). Do pins 8&20 correspond to AUX2?
Then you need to set 727-01-01 xxxx xx*x xxxx to 4 to let the headunit know that AUX2 is located at center front.

The settings for 727-01-01 xxx* xxxx xxxx I have are:
0=Aux1 not used & Aux2 not used 8=Aux1 External Sub & Aux2 not used
1=Aux1 not used & Aux2 Internal Amp 9=Aux1 External Sub & Aux2 Internal Amp
2=Aux1 not used & Aux2 External Sub A=Aux1 External Sub & Aux2 External Sub
3=Aux1 not used & Aux2 External Speaker B=Aux1 External Sub & Aux2 External Speaker
4=Aux1 reserved & Aux2 not used C=Aux1 External Speaker & Aux2 not used
5=Aux1 reserved & Aux2 Internal Amp D=Aux1 External Speaker & Aux2 Internal Amp
6=Aux1 reserved & Aux2 External Sub E=Aux1 External Speaker & Aux2 External Sub
7=Aux1 reserved & Aux2 External Speaker F=Aux1 External Speaker & Aux2 External Speaker

and the settings for 727-01-01 xxxx xx*x xxxx (Channel Location for Balance & Fade) I have are:
0=Mono Subwoofer 8=Right Rear
2=Left Front A=Center Rear
4=Center Front C=Left Rear
6=Right Front E=Right Subwoofer

Might help you progress things a little.

Thank you so mutch however my options are a little different:

00=Aux1 Mono Sub, Aux2 Mono Sub, Internal CD Enabled/External CD Disabled, Conversion Disabled
01=Aux1 Mono Sub, Aux2 Mono Sub, Internal CD Enabled/External CD Disabled, Conversion Enabled
02=Aux1 Mono Sub, Aux2 Mono Sub, Internal CD Disabled/External CD/No CD, Conversion Disabled

0C=Aux1 Mono Sub, Aux2 Right Front, Internal CD Enabled/External CD Disabled, Conversion Disabled
0D=Aux1 Mono Sub, Aux2 Right Front, Internal CD Enabled/External CD Disabled, Conversion Enabled

My options are already set to 08. Which should work. But still nothing. Yes pin 8 and 20 is the AUX 2 pins according to the wiring diagram.

Give me part number for ACM so I can confirm I'm using the correct file for your asbuilt.

Run Forscan and go to configuration tab up the top, I need the ACM Part Number. Give me the calibration level also.

Start a new vehicle profile, do not use an existing one.

There are a lot of ACM variations so I would not rely on what is found on www for other models and vehicles.

Hi,

So ACM details below.

ACM - Audio Control Module
Part number: EB3T-19C107-DH
Calibration level: EB3T-19C107-DH (latest known: EB3T-19C107-DJA)
Strategy : EB3T-14D099-DF
Calibration: EB3T-14D100-DD

I have done some searching and found a gentleman in Malaysia that claims that certain ACM's do not have a "amplified" center channel ie. (AUX2 pin 8 & 20).
I continued with a temporary workaround and pulled audio signal from the two front speaker channels ( + from right and - from left ) Not true center channel but it does make for a "fuller" sound in the vehicle.

PS. I also have a "EB3T-19C107-DJ" ACM that came from the donor ranger I pulled the SYNC 3 unit out of.

For part number EB3T-19C107-D* your asbuilt is correct. D* means the whole D linage so will assume then that D linage does not contain additional amplifier circuits;

EB3T-19C107-DA
EB3T-19C107-DB
EB3T-19C107-DC
EB3T-19C107-DE
EB3T-19C107-DF
EB3T-19C107-DG
EB3T-19C107-DH
EB3T-19C107-DHA
EB3T-19C107-DJ
EB3T-19C107-DJA

meaning that the hardware options and asbuilt will be identical.

EB3T-19C107-A*, B*, C*, L* OR
JB3T-19C107-A* B* C* F* G* L* M* S* R*

Is basically everything else, do they support your country, I cannot answer that. Do they support centre speaker amp, most likely as some of those models are in an Everest with centre speaker.

That's unfortunate.

So I might try and source a ACM from a totaled Everest then...

Thanks for the information. For now I will use the bridged connection until I can source a ACM from a vehicle I know had the center channel working.

Titanium would have had centre, not sure about other levels. Doubt trend would though. Never had a need to look into it.

Did the ACM module you pulled from the Everest come from a model that didn't have the centre speaker and sub already. (only top spec model came with this standard) I'm trying to work out if any Everest ACM unit will work or if I need to have the top spec Everest ACM

I gave up on this a year ago, but now I'm back at it. I have a 2021 Raptor Ranger.
I found this on the Forscan forum which is different from those above and I'm confused all over again. Why couldn't Ford give a premium soundsystem to a premium level truck?
