Hi all, a while ago I changed my fuel tank to a Brown Davis 150l tank. They say that this tank has a useable capacity of 145l, so I went in to the IPC non asbuilt and changed it to 145. The DTE was way higher then it should have been, but I figured that this would reset itself over time. I have since fueled up twice and the DTE is still incorrect. I went in to the IPC as built and the setting appears to have come through correctly:

720-03-01 xxx5 AAxx xxxx 145l

The DTE after I fill the tank is 1685km. Avg l/100km is 9.9 on the same screen and the DTE calculation is set to standard in the settings menu.

DTE should be 1465 based on 9.9, not 1685 as it is telling me.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Keep driving and see if it gets better after a few more refills?

Thanks
E

See what happens at this stage. Generally it will sort itself over 450km, I have not hade this issue before.

Also note it is based on a long term average so not always instant.

Ok, I’ll give it another tank and see what happens next time I fill it up.

I don’t think it’s a long term average issue though, because that would mean I’m sitting at 8.6l/100km. The way I drive that is very very unlikely
