Can anyone help me with the Inter-cooler temp range that I should expect from a 2.0l bi-Turbo?

I want to monitor while towing and have no idea what a reasonable temp range is and when I should start to be concerned. Have seen it as high as 60 degrees.

TIA, Denis

Depends on ambient temp, obviously the hotter the outside air the less heat it can pull from the charge air. The ECM will pull out power as temps get to high.
More importantly wile towing is to watch EGTs but once again the ECM will pull out fuel if these get to high but don't need to be running on the edge all the time.

In my 3.2 I've typically seen charge temps with in 20 degrees or less of ambient temps with highway running

Hmmm. Cruising along the flat yes within 20. Any real load and I was getting up to 65. Thought it would drop back to say 40.
