Hello, i have a question regarding the remote start function on a 2019 wildtrak with ford pass app
I enabled the function with forscan in bdycm and in the ipc module and enabled it in the cluster screen in the car, now the button to remote start in the ford pass app still disappears after a couple seconds but When I’m quick enough to push the button and hold it for a couple seconds the remote start function works. Does anyone have an idea if I need to do something else to keep the remote start button on the FordPass app ?

Where are you located? I read somewhere that remote start is country specific and not allowed in some countries in Europe, that's why it is disabled in fordpass. Not sure if this is true though...

Being you have a TCU and no Australian vehicle means no one down here has looked into it as it would not work.
I would be looking towards the app as it could be using your location to make the decision. If your phone is rooted try using a fake GPS app to make your phone appear in the US and see what happens. If it works then you could always reverse the app and modify so the button is always present.

I don’t think it is against the law here because the focus and edge can use this function.
I tried faking my location but that didn’t work.
Can I use a remote start fob if I buy one and program it in forscan with this module or do I need a different one ?

With this module?
I cannot answer whether another fob will work for you, being SA built and Euro based there are too many variables against a Thai built Ranger that we have here in Australia.
You will not program a PX3 fob with Forscan anyway.
Try it and find out.

Its a PX2, an aftermarket module may or may not help you (no guraantees) most likely not, and if so then it would program these asbuilt changes automatically. Just enabling the options in the IPC and BCM will not magically make it remote start.
