I'd like to add some rear footwell ambient lighting, but being a bit of a perfectionist I'd like them to change colour when I change the factory ones through the Sync system.
Does anyone know how the colour changing works? Is it feasible to buy another set of front footwell LEDs from Ford and wire them in alongside the fronts? Or would the change on current draw etc. cause either a fault or colour change?

They run on LIN bus. Join as many as you want together if you are using genuine lighting. See attached.
