Hi all. I want to install an aftermarket FM antenna. The roof mounted antenna is hidden underneath my roof racks and my FM reception is pretty poor. I want to install a GME FM antenna on the bullbar. I found that I need to have an adapter as well to go from the head unit to the standard FM antenna plug. The aerpro ADA67 seams to be the fit for our car. Has anyone done something like this already and what is the easiest way to get to the back of the unit to replace the plug? Can I access it from behind the glove box or from the drivers side, or do I need to remove the entire head unit? Anyone have any handy links or YouTube videos?

Thanks all

Cable runs up the pillar in one piece so I will say the best practice way is to unplug the old one from the radio/cd player and plug it in there.
