Has anyone removed the switch to access the wiring at its rear ? I'm assuming that it just pops out by levering the outer edge but before I do this I'd like some idea of the correct way to do it.
My reason for this is to access the side light wiring to illuminate my driving light switch which has an LED so its easily visible once the lights are on.
My other question is that some people have said that they have an additional engine diagnostic socket behind the drivers knee switch panel - is this common for all fuse panels as I've looked high and low behind mine and it simply doesn't exist, Could it be that there are two fuse panel manufacturers and one doesn't install the second socket ???

Yours will have the second OBDport, visible from underneath.
Not easy when you can't bend like you used to.

Take the air vent out by reefing on it then do the same with the light switch panel or use plastic trim tools. They are all held in with plastic clips.

Thanks for that Stuart,
I'll see if I can lay upside down in the foot-well to find it ( bending my back being neigh on impossible ) and at the same time access I will the light switch.

Thanks Stewart - and Ross, My spine wont be the same for a day or so but mission accomplished, I found the elusive OBD port and fitted the OBDlink MX so its permanently in. For some reason I thought it would have been facing the other way !! I'll tackle the lighting switch tomorrow.
