I’ve currently got a 2019 Ranger PX3 XLT. I’ve managed to buy a sail plane and an electric roller shutter from a 2022 PX3 Wildtrak, which I’ve fitted to my XLT. I can get it to open and close fine, using a simple reversing switch connection. But it doesn't work like it did when it was fitted to the Wildtrak (it doesn’t have one-touch soft open and close, nor does it have pinch protection or remote control etc).

In order to get it to work properly I've purchased a roller shutter control module, which are standard on the Wildtrak models with electric rollers.

I have a couple of questions regarding the wiring of the module:
(1) Will the module work OK without being connected to the MS canbus. I realise I will lose some features by not doing this (like remote functionality), but it will be easier to wire without having to tap into the MS canbus somewhere. If I do have to tap into the MS canbus, where's the easiest place to do this?
(2) Does anyone know what brand/make/model/type the connectors are that are used on the module and wiring (I realise this is probably a bit of an ask without pictures!)

Cheers!
