Hi,

I have an Everest 2021.75 and having issues disabling auto stop/start.

In the BdyCM AS Build the only options I see for Auto Stop/Start is the "BMS / Auto Stop Start"

This disables Auto Stop start but I would prefer to have my alternator on smart charge mode.

Is there a way to disable it without using this setting?

I'd be interested to know if someone had an answer to this also.

After 2 years of pressing the off button everytime i start the car, getting a bit tired of it! But haven't turned it off yet due to impact of battery charging.

You cannot sperate the functions. If anything it is just a work around to disable stop / start and nothing more. If BCM does not know state of charge then stop / start is disabled.

Stop / start itself is written in to firmware and this cannot be changed.

Worst case your battery reaches 100% state of charge and you use .1 litres per 100km more fuel than if smart charge was on. Pretty sure that was the figure I worked out years ago.
