Hi all new to this I have done a bit of reading and from what I can tell most of the stuff is pretty old and a little confusing to me I can see that everything use to operate on asbuilts (or some still do) however now we have some nice menus that are a lot easier to use. Most a self explanatory however some not so much.

What setting do I use to disable the reverse park sensors when a trailer is attached at the moment I am having to press the button however that also disables the front Ideally it would only do the rear if possible?

Any other recommendations to change? I have turned off the double beep when when leaving the car because that was irritating. I'm sure I will find other tweaks soon enough.

Does it have a genuine Ford TRM ( Trailer module ) under the passenger seat?

If Ford added it, did they run the trailer module config routine once it was fitted?

No it was an aftermarket unit fitted by myself. However did come with a trailer module non genuine however I was told it should be the same.

I ended up finding the trailer module setup on FORScan and after running that I know have everything I believe that ford would have put on.

If you have set everything and run trailer routine and the rear sensors still beep then it is either not hooked up to the CAN bus or it does not recognise a trailer.

What is the aftermarket unit?

When you plug the trailer in, does the centre screen recognises there's a trailer?

Sorry I should have clarified.

I ended up finding the Trailer setup after I made this post. I wasn't sure where to look originally when I started the post and then after a bit of stuffing around ended up finding it within the forscan programming.

After I ran the setup I now have the following additions.
-Trailer control menu on the dash
- Rear parking sensors disabled (fronts still working)
- little trailer icon displays on the the audio screen.
