Starting thread on my Wildtrak. Mods will be slow and steady while it's under warranty (well maybe just for the first 12monthslol) and while I'm trying to work out how far I want to go with it. So far it has a provent 200 kit, a ultragauge and tailgate struts and I have removed the 4x4 stickers.

Remove those ugly tailgate stickers to complete the job.

So a bit has happened to it lately.. New tyres - 285 65 18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W, 3" DPF back exhaust, an Armax snorkel and gave it an oil change after it's first inspection and fitted a fumoto for cleaner oil changes from now on. I just ordered a Win 10 cable so I can have a mess around with Forscan and see what damage I can do lol

Is it noisy without a muffler in the new exhaust?

Hey mate, it's not noisey at all.. Can barely notice a difference. Has a slight burble when you turn it off.RossPat wrote:Is it noisy without a muffler in the new exhaust?

In preparation for the bullbar and winch getting fitted on Tuesday, I started the dreaded job of wiring which I hate. Been waiting for the bullbar to install the uhf and spotlights and also ran the wiring for the light bar. Unsure whether that will be fitted to the roof or bullbar yet. I'm glad the interior wasn't to bad to pull apart. Here are some photos of how I have done it, I understand it won't be how everyone else would have done it, but it's the way it is and caused minimal damage/holes to the interior and can all be removed very easy.

Nice and neat but go back and replace those Chinese relays with some quality units.
They will fail at some point and possibly melt and when they do it looks really ugly.
Well done!!

So after the bullbar and winch got fitted she sagged a bit, so then the hard decision of suspension started. Ended up going with dobinson front and rear, only did extended shackles for now in the rear until I decide what I'm putting on the back. It rides really nice and I'm very happy with it. Also given me space back between the bump stop. Tomorrow I will get the final measurements and post them up.

Will be good to hear some feedback once you put a few more KMs on them.
