OBD PID Gear Codes for Ford Everest Trend

Does anyone know the OBD PID codes to get the current gear selected from the Everest using the TorquePro app and OBDLink LE reader?

Hi Stewart Thanks for this - but would you mind clarifying a couple of points for me.
According to your complete PCM PID table, 1E12 is Gear commanded while I thought we may have needed 1E1F Transmission Gear Engaged?
All I want to know is what gear the auto is using at any stage?
I gather from your reply that the mode (22) needs to be included at the front of the table listed PID?
More importantly, you have indicated that the correct header is 7E1 - however the header in the table is listed as 07E0 - What is reason for this change from the HEX value listed in the complete PCM PID table? Are the header values different for different car models?
Appologies for the extended requests - but like to understand coding issues as fully as possible.
I'm hoping that if I can sort this out I may be able to use your table directly to extract other parameters of interest from the Everest's PCM
Your expertises and help with this is much appreciated.

Hi John,
I pull the gear position from the TCM, hence module 7E1, if I was to pull it from the PCM then it would be 7E0.
PID for gear position in the TCM is 1E12, it will be different in the PCM.
Mode 22 are manufacturer specific PIDs, Totoya is 21. So you are requesting PID 1E12 using Mode 22.
The above I have listed will work and work properly, I use it on my Ultragauge.

Thanks - I'm starting to understand the structure of the commands now - a little!
The gear position worked at treat on my Everest
Battery voltage (at CM) appears readily available - Is there any way we can also pull up Amps coming out of the alternator as well?
Thanks again - your reverse engineering on these control modules is amazing.

But I'm really looking for total Amps out of the alternator if that is possible as I have a dual battery & WACO Fridge (sometimes) in the rear also sucking on the alternator.
I've also swapped over to OBDLInk from Torque Pro as it seems better behaved on my Android phone.

Alternator is 110 amp.
Header 726 is for the BCM (Body Control Module) which stores all the parameters for the battery management system.
Your change from 07E0 to 726. I do copy and paste some sections and unfortunately make the odd mistake. I thought I had rectified but if you point me to the thread I will rectify.
There are 100's of other PIDS that are not documented or are not in Forscan or Fords IDS which no doubt Fords engineers have in their own software but it is a matter of figuring out what they are. It's plausible that alternator output may be one of those. Sorting these are time consuming though.

I've had a good look for the erroneous "Battery current in and out Amps" code - but can not find it anywhere - I'm pretty sure it was there, because I remember the equation offsets were different between the two variants - anyway, it appears to be gone now - so perhaps it has been removed already.
