Hi, I just wanted to share with everyone an app that is available on xda forums that can display OBD data on the Sync 3 screen. It works via Android Auto . You do need Torque Pro as well. Link to the developer on XDA is below.

Is it a plug n play deal with the sync 2 and sync 3 screens.

Sync 3 only. Sync 2 will never support Android Auto.
