I was wondering if there was a list out there with all the codes/details of what things are? For example, what all the items in the IPC, I don’t know what some of them are.

Also, my car has the pain in the ass auto-shutdown feature. Can this be disabled or reversed through forscan? Just so I don’t have to switch it off every time I start the car

Cheers,
Brock.

I believe the auto shut down can be disabled with Forscan

I have not made a list as most items are self explanatory. If you are not sure on something feel free to post.

Stop Start can be disabled in the BCM non as built area or have a look at this page > viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1391&p=8005&hilit=stop+start#p8005 about half way down you will see I have posted 2 images with red circles which so the options.

No worries, I’ll give that a go later on today.

Finally got that sorted. I don’t know why that’s not there from factory?

What is the Sirius menu for?

Intelligent 4wd mode and menu? Turned them on and nothing appeared to have happened... As with off road gauge.

I’m guessing that the navigation menu is for satnav?

And I’m also guessing the the front and rear park aid menus are for parking sensors...

Cheers.

Sirius, is US based satellite radio so not available.
Itell 4WD is of no use to a Ranger.
Nav, sat nav yes, leave as is.
Park aid leave as is unless you have a reason to disable too. You cannot not a hard button and IPC menus working at the same time. If no hard button then one can be fitted then the menu would be disabled or the reverse.

I’m assuming that is what happening with the auto start/stop. I’m turning it off in the vehicle options menu, but the car is still shutting down. Is that cause it has the button as well?

Default state on startup will always be enabled. If you want to disable for good then disable in BCM non asbuilt. In this case the menu will never fully overide it, menu or hard buttons, everything still has a default state.

It can be disabled fully as per my link in second post from the top.

It’s a shame there is no option to start the car with auto stop/start disabled and turn it back on with the button when you want it on....
