Hi All. My FrankenRanger (Used PX2 XLS with a new unknown tub, was a tray I believe) has just scored a used Flat Top-Hardlid with factory Sports Bar.

Doing the mounting I see the plug on the bar for the high level stoplight and assume that lights either side are the puddle lamps that the BCM can see missing. I have found what I think is a compatible plug which was cable tied to the connectorfest just in front of the LHS rear wheel but it is too short and I don't know how it is expected to get into the tub.

Is anyone able to shed some light on how I mate the plug and socket please?

Cheers

Fred.

I know it is the definition of insanity to be talking to yourself, however I found the answer I was looking for and thought I would post in the event someone else needed it. The sportsbar stop light and puddle lamps go through a connector near connectorfest in front of the LHS rear wheel. There is then an extension loom cable to get to the sportsbar plug. Ford part number EB3T13B551AC.

Runs up the inside LHS edge of the tub, pops out near the bar connector. Has attachments on it to plug into the front edge of the tub to secure it.

I now have a fully functioning remote hardlid with a centrally locked tailgate.
