Hi All,

I'm not sure if this is normal/standard on all PX2 Rangers but I cannot operate the windows as soon as I turn the ignition off.
On my previous vehicle (2006 Isuzu) you had a 30 second odd period in which to open or close the windows as you needed.

Helpful for when you switch off and jump out of vehicle and only then notice you've left a rear window open!

Is there a change in the BCM or somewhere that will allow this?
If this is linked to the power points timeout then i am stuffed as I can't change that from instant off with ignition off.

It is normal and there is no change.

Maybe look at adding one of these window kits https://tracelectronics.com.au/ as at least they will close themselves.

Just checked my PX2 XLS and windows and radio still work with the ignition keys in my hand. Until I open a door. Then it shuts all accessory power down.
PJ XLT, 2016 PX2 XLS. Can only drive one at a time, but the PX is nicer and doesn't smell like the PJ.

My 2018 model does the same, but no idea how long it will stay live.

Ok, I know my radio stays on until i open the door but have never tried operating the windows.
I typically immediately open my door when i stop while I idle the motor for few seconds.

Will check on the windows

When the accessories are off and do open you can’t operate windows.. In my falcons and my territory as soon as I unlocked the car I could operate windows.. I hate the rangers don’t do it..

I got a door module from RedTek which will let me roll the windows up and down using the lock and unlock buttons and/or the keyless entry fob. It's a bit tricky to get used to as I like to click the unlock button a bunch and on the 3rd click it starts rolling all the windows down 2 at a time. Other than that it's an amazing addition, and pretty easy to install.

I also made a video (it's on youtube) of how to install it on a LDH ranger, it should be very similar on the other hand drive variants.
