Ranger Mods

This isn't strictly Ranger related so I hope its ok.

My dads territory had its factory radio (MyFord, is that what people refer to as Sync2?) but it was replaced by someone with a sync 3 radio.

Everyrthing seems to work, how ever when changing the temp or fan speed, it doesn't have an overlay pop-up like in the Ranger. This makes it impossible to see what your setting it to when using carplay etc.

The Temp does get shown on the top right of the screen when not in CarPlay, so the unit seems to be aware of what the Climate unit is doing.

Is there something I can change using Forscan to get this working like in the Ranger? Forscan does detect that the car has Sync 3 installed.

The territory is a 2015 SZ Mk2

If you cannot detect the Sync3 then it will need to be upgraded on the bench. I use specific changes to get everything displaying correctly on Territory and Falcon.

I’m pretty sure it does see Sync 3, it asks me about it same as my ranger does.
