Stewart added it to Forscan, so you can disable it completely.

BCM non asbuilt in Forscan. Its the first item ont he list ( AUto Stop Start ).

I've successfully disabled the engine auto start stop feature on my raptor by disabling the 2x settings in green, my question is what does the "Auto Start Stop" setting in red do? I've turned this on and off and it doesn't seem to have any effect?

That auto stop start in red is located in the settings vehicle menu. It needs a BCM change, different to what you did and what it does is turn the car off if it has been idleing for more than 30mins.

Forscan consolidated changes from not just me but overseas people also and honestly made a big fat mess of it all.

Thanks Stewart, so I have done this correctly and don't need to make any other changes? The red "auto start stop" is to shut the vehicle off if it has been running for more than 30min, correct?

Sorry.

Auto engine idle shutdown is the menu in the settings, vehicle area. Leave as enabled. This will shut down engine after 30min of idling.

Auto Start Stop removes the Auto Stop Gauge from the fuel economy area which may not be applicable on a Raptor. Just the BCM change alone will disable it anyway.

So do it this way, just change the IPC ones you have around.

IPC
Auto Start Stop - Disabled
Auto engine idle shutdown - Enabled

BCM
Auto Stop Start - Disabled

Hey does anyone know why I can't see the auto start stop in BdyCM? I can see and edit it in IPC but modifying it only here doesn't change anything.

Hey just double checked the forscan for this option. I definitely don't have it. Will attach pic for clarification. Any help is appreciated as this is the main reason I got the forescan...

I have a 2016 PX2, manual, and I'm trying to disable the auto start stop function. Even if someone could quickly run thru how to change the as built codes to disable this. Cheers

Ok so finally read on another thread that the solution is to disable the BMS auto start stop. Some other guy also recommended to plug a phone charger or something into the AC port which tricks the car into not turning off. Quite clever I might try this instead.

I also have the same problem that the Auto Stop Start tick box does not appear in the BdyCM.

I have disabled in the IPC

What is the fix for this?

Is it possible to turn on the stop/start feature if the car didn’t come stock with it enabled?
