Is it possible to unlink the brightness of the dash lights from the brightness of the screens?
I prefer to have the screens at the 2nd lowest brightness at night but it makes the dash lights so dim.
Is there any kind of change I can make, even if it just makes the dash lights at 100% brightness?

There is no way simple fix for it but the below may do what you need.

Hi Stewart,
Tried above but only seemed to lock the settings to what ever level I input in asbuilt.
I don’t suppose there’s any anything else I can try? If not all good, thanks for helping me to try this out at least.
Cheers

No, is nothing else.
What you said is kind of what I expected, so you can seperate them but just need to decide on a fixed brightness is all.

Hi Stewart,
Maybe we are misunderstanding each other? So when I set 726-31-01 to 0B for example, it just locked the brightness to max (at night), when I press dash light keys, the menu pops up but doesn't change. It seems the dash lights brightness (and screen) matched what ever I set to in Forscan, just as if I changed brightness using the controls per normal.
Is what I described different from what you were expecting? Hope this makes sense. I’m actually totally okay with a fixed brightness so long as I can get the screens to be dim at night, but backlighting bright. I dont really change the brightness every anyway.
Also what should expect to change from the 3rd set Dim User Day Level ? Not sure I understand.

Understood, it is setting a static brightness instead of using the buttons.
There is nothing left to split and achieve what you want unfortunately, I was hoping what I gave would just do ambient lighting and not cluster or APIM. Worth a shot anyway.

No idea on the 3rd one. It is all the description so it's a lucky dip guess at times.
