Most uk rangers didnt come with this option ticked which is a shame as it was only £500. From reading its a straight swap axle/diff etc and the locker can be wired up off a switch. So is there any easy way or take off or trigger wire on the bcm so that when activated it turns the light on, on the dash?

Should be able to just wire as factory then enable the asbuilt options. ABS, IPC, PCM, FCIM I think and fir switch.
Or use a normal switch and have it work at any speed if you wish. They do turn off at 40km so harder to hand the rear end out at 80kph.

Thanks, I will look into sourcing the axle, not to fussed about working as factory, just on off be fine, but using the light on dash and factory switch.

UPDATE:
So I have fitted the switch by the gear stick no point in posting part number, as there are about 40 different combinations depending on spec but its a straight swap.
With Saeb help there were 3 changes needed IPC, ABS, PCM again no point listing what they are as again depend on spec.
The light now comes on the dash, if turn on at speed it will come on and off as drop below/go above 25mph, will disable the start/stop etc so looks like has full function.
The wiring looks to be all there including the plug that goes to the diff, just with a blanking cap. So when its not raining and flu has gone I will check with a multi meter for power/pulse when button pushed.
and now try to source an axle

Update again for future reference if anyone searches this.
Have 12v at plug on axle, sourced a diff so if it all bolts in ok looks like its a fairly easy retrofit.

Final Update:
It is possible to retrofit full function as per factory rear locker.
The switch is a straight swap
Some coding with Forscan
I swapped the whole diff complete, everything was a straight swap, best way was to undo all the brackets and wiring and just bungee it up to bottom of bed, jack under diff and drop the axle by the u-bolts.
The plug that plugs into the diff was different and the wire was too short, but the wires were same colour on the donor axle so just cut the plugs of and extended the wires.
Thats pretty much it. Thread updated incase anyone comes across on future search.
Also thanks again to Saeb for asbuilt changes.

Can anyone here shed some light on the other "offroad pack" items? in the USA we get FX4 package which has a locker, Terrain Management (Selectable Drive Mode), and Trail Control.
We're trying to enable the Trail Control portion and we're running into a lack of experience working with AsBuilt data. Can anyone give us a hand?

In a way ours cannot be compared to yours as you have more options. Pretty sure you have the terrain control knob near the gear lever where we live in the past.
Send me 2 VINs, vehicle less the options you are looking for and the vehicle with out the options so I can see what modules exist or Send me image of modules tab up the top of Forscan of each vehicle and saved abt plus VINs.

I can second that as well. Really appreciate you looking into this saeb / Stewart. If my LTX asbuilt or VIN and another similar FX4 version are helpful please let me know.
