Hi Guys,

With Stedi's new Boost Driving Lights, that go in the standard fog light mounting position on PX3 (and I believe I read PX2, bar WT), I have a question.

https://www.stedi.com.au/boost-integrat ... -fogs.html

Can Forscan be used to make the fog lights activate as driving lights, i.e. toggle on/off with the high beam?

I think there is some control over function of the fog lights through Forscan, just not sure if the above would be possible?

Thanks you.

In the way you are trying to achieve it, no, as they will fail to turn off on low beam and just remember being turned on in the last position.

Assuming you are only using them with high beam and depending on current draw your solution would be to cut fog light wire near the headlight and splice into high beam which is close. You could do it at the BCM also which would mean no extra wiring, just a splice for left and right.

If the current draw is to high then you will be looking at relays also.
