Have been trying to find the actual file download link on Ford support site to update Sync 2 to latest software, but can only come up with "how to" pages. Anybody offer the actual download link please ?

You got to create an account then login to you Myford page and follow the prompts.
Enter your VIN and if it has been updated by a Ford dealer at some stage it will know what version.
It will then tell you if there is an update then guide you through the download and install process.
