Hi there all you Ranger owners.
I have a 2020 Ranger Wildtrak 3.2 in Meteor Grey, which will be used to tow my RO18 New Age Caravan. I have recently purchased an OBDLink MX+ which primarily will be used to monitor the performance of the vehicle (primarily transmission temperature) till I make a decison whether a trans cooler is necessary. I will be pairing the OBDLink to a iphone 6. The phone is installed with the OBD Link application. The install and implementation of the app is going so smoothly and I find the documentation is awful, and the product support a bit hit and miss.
Thanks to you all,
Barry

Hi Ross,
Thanks for the feedback. I discovered OBD PID Calculator on this site which I found immensely helpful. Thank you to everyone involved in putting that together. At the same time I found the product support for the OBDLink software unhelpful. I am now wondering if the Parameter for Engine Oil Temperature is available. I am still finding my way around this forum, so I am not sure if this is the best place to post this request.
Thanks, Barry

There are a lot of PID's in the OBDlink that aren't suitable for a Ranger.
The Aussie Ranger doesn't have an Oil Temp sensor so that is one that will not work

Ah, OK, What a shame. You think that would be fundamental to engine management. I guess Ford knows something I don't. Thanks for the reply though. Does the same apply for oil pressure?
