Anyone know of a way to reset an "Adblue System Malfunction" error without going to a dealer? Was out in the bush on the weekend and got the fault, the countdown starts at 800km before the engine will not start. It was only a day trip so back to home with 600kms to go. This is the second time this has happened, the dealer needed it overnight to reset it last time.

If it is just a DTC then use Forscan. Have you tried this?

Yep, cleared the Check engine light not the adblue fault. The good news is after about 300km, a few restarts it cleared itself without needing a trip to dealer......

I never remember seeing about adblue in Ford IDS but will have a look next time. It's plausible that after a few starts it also reset for them last time. If I find something I will try and get it added.

thanks, it would be good to be able to reset it, then even if it's a real fault I don't have to stress about the 800km limit to no start.
