Ranger Mods

So I am trying to get the parkers to run as DRL's in my 21.75 PX3 XLS but I can't seem to get it to work.

I have enabled the following but it's not working. I do have the option now to select it on the cluster but they don't come on.

What have I done wrong? Did I miss something?

BCM
Allowed DRL options -> 127 - All options
DRL configuration -> 16 – Dedicated DRL
DRL by Autolamps - Initial Value -> 1 - Enabled
DRL by Autolamps – Personal 1 -> 1 - Enabled
DRL by Autolamps – Personal 2 -> 1 - Enabled
DRL by Autolamps – Personal 3 -> 1 - Enabled
DRL by Autolamps – Personal 4 -> 1 - Enabled

IPC
Daytime Running Lamps Menu (additional changes in BCM) -> 1 - Enabled

UPDATE: Anyway these changes on version 2.3.50 work you just need to remember to have the lights set to auto

No I had it off does it need to be on auto? I was testing it in the dark so thought it might need to be off otherwise he headlights will just be on.

UPDATE: Just tested it with a spotlight shining right on the light sensor on the dash sure enough it does work that's awesome!

Currently got my custom DRLs to turn on with the ignition (piggyback fuse) how do I set these/wire these so they act as true DRL and I am able to turn these off via the cluster control

To have them working as original set up you need the pin kit it comes with instructions, as well as forscan or someone with it to make changes in the bcm.

G'day fellas Ive installed led DRL type headlights in a 2021.75 xls and have bought the two pigtails, installed them in BCM, ran wires to drls but I'm having problems with the forscan side;) Ive changed all menus in non-asbuilt BCM and have the DRL menu on screen but the drls don't come on, I know they work as when the headlight switch is turned on they come on for a split second but then the low beams come on instead. Doesn't matter what the outside light is doing, bright and sunny or dark and raining it flicks to headlights. Is this a problem with the light sensor in the car or the options in as-built forscan needing to be changed?

Sounds like you have installed aftermarket headlights. I don't know anything about these hopefully someone can help you.
The only help I can offer is to open a new thread with your questions, some photos, diagram of the wiring that came with your headlights etc.
Also do you have the light switch in the auto position?

No, these are genuine ford headlights out of a 2021 ranger raptor.

The problem I'm having is when I enter the details as per Saeb pigtail terminal instructions in forscan as-built they change when I press 'write' also what does the 'x' on the values to enter mean? Just the original value that was there or??

Yes the x is for original value.
When you say they change do you mean the value changes or thats when the headlights playup?

Save the IPC and BCM asbuilt. Send me a PM with the files and I will make the changes for you to load.

It won't allow me to order these to the UK as it only has Australia marked in.

Do you know if im able to order a kit in the UK or to the UK?

I see you have not changed some of the items. DRL circuits are not enabled, DRL mask is incorrect etc.

Oh ok, can these be changed in the non as-built section or is it just quicker and easier to change in as-built?

Ive changed all values as per the other post except this one here, it won't let me change it and mine has a different amount of values (see in photo attached)

I've been on and off with this and they aren't even flicking on at all anymore, Ive got the two (circuit short to battery or open) dtc codes from left and right, so I'm not sure whether I hooked it up wrong orr?

The value in 726-45-01 said the value I was entering was wrong, changing first value in second line from 1 to 7, I said continue anyway, that cause it to change the end of that line from 009D to 00FD;)

First DTC is because you enabled mode on the terrain gauge which does not exist on your vehicle.

Without knowing where you are with your current asbuilt I cannot give you the changes for the position circuits. Show block 726-24 and 726-47

Lastly you do not no how to correct CS so it was recalculated for you.
