Having owned the Everest for 6 years, starting to want a few minor tweaks.
As an old mechanic, the type that when I needed an external temperature gauge in the 1978 Landcruiser, I grabbed a hole saw and just drilled a hole in that beautiful flat steel dashboard!!
My immediate question is related to Scan gauges for Engine or Coolant Temperature specifically, can I get Gauge (UltraGauge or other) that will plug into the OBD port on the Everest and give me an accurate temperature reading with an audible over temperature alarm?
I am starting to get paranoid about EGR Cooler failure on a remote trip.
I look forward to working my way through some of the technical info on the site.
Cheers

Hi.
Both the Scanguage or Ultra gauge will plug into the OBD port and monitor the Engine temp and many other parameters.
The Ultraguage has alarms and Auto paging
I have never used a Scanguage so I can't help you there but I am sure someone will post soon enough.
I don't know if the Everest has 2 OBD ports like the Ranger, again someone will post with that info.

Thanks for the reply guys, the Everest does have 2 OBD ports like the Ranger.
I will grab an UltraGauge just for the alarm function.
