Was thinking that "Bat_ST_CHRG" would be a good one to monitor if possible. Haven't got as far as how to find out what the PID is for it though. That's something to learn for the future.

Try this
Battery State of Charge
TXD: 0726224028
RXF: 046205400628
RXD: 3008
MTH: 000100010000
I have mapped the BCM but have not finialised the spreadsheet.

Yup, that matches with what Forscan says.

Just set this up on my Scangauge as part of my dual battery, charging level "experiment" and want to make sure it's what I think it is. Am I correct in assuming the figure displayed is a percentage indicating the charge level of the battery? So a figure of 83 means the battery is charged to 83% of capacity?
Want to monitor this for a bit and see what difference enabling or disabling dual battery mode has on the max level of charge reached.

Cheers. I've switched back to single battery mode so will keep an eye on this for a week or so.

It's definitely lower on single battery mode. Never goes above 83% and IMO, it's slowly getting lower. I haven't seen it go above 81% for some time and now as low as 71% where as before I never saw below 75%. I don't think this is a function of the charge, I think it's an indicator of the poor quality of the OEM battery and a sign it won't have a very long life.

Thanks Apsilon,
I also did some tests.
I have a 1080cca stop start battery as the Ranger battery supplied never got over 70%.
New one will get to 100%.
Turning dual battery mode off, over a two week period, saw the new battery also drop, tuned back on and back to 100% now. Now seeing 95% each day before starting.
I am leaving dual battery mode on now, as my camper batteries also charge much faster too.
