Mar 26 2020 9810 - 2018-2020 Ranger/Everest/Endeavour Vehicles Equipped With A 2.0L (Panther) Engine - Cooling Fan Stays On Or Is Inoperative With DTCs P0217, P0480, P0483, P2600, P2602, P2603, P261A, P261B And/Or P261D
Some 2018-2020 Ranger/Everest/Endeavour vehicles equipped with a 2.0L (Panther)engine may exhibit a concern where the engine cooling fan stays on at all timesor is inoperative. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P0217, P0480, P0483, P2600, P2602, P2603, P261A, P261B and/or P261D may be stored in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). To address these vehicle symptoms, use the updated online version of pinpoint test AH in the Powertrain Control/Emission Diagnostic (PC/ED) tab onthe PTS website. The pinpoint test has been updated to aid in preventing unnecessary fan clutch replacement. Refer SSM:48682.


Mar 19 2020 9767 - 2019 Ranger And Everest/Endeavour Vehicles - Dealers Requested Not To Update The Parking Aid Module Until Further Notice
Ford is aware of a number of reports relating to a false triggering of the front parking aid sensors on certain 2019 Ranger and Everest/Endeavour vehicles. Please do not carry out any Parking Aid Module (PAM) update until further notice. Engineering are currently investigating and will update OASIS accordingly.

Feb 27 2020 9632 - 2019 Ranger And Everest - Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement - OdometerWrite Application Rectified
Please be advised that the IPC - Odometer Configuration application within the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic tool has now been rectified. Technicians will now be able to complete the odometer write function when replacing an IPC.

Feb 14 2020 9559 - 2020 Ford Ranger XL And XLS Vehicles Equipped With new SYNC (8" Touchscreen) - Fitment Of Dealer Accessory Parking Aid Camera.
UPDATE: Please be advised that the issue concerning the inability to configure the rear accessory parking aid camera on the above Ranger models has now been resolved. Dealers are advised to follow the configuration instruction referred to FCSD bulletin 2020024 available on FMC Dealer.

Feb 13 2020 9546 - 2018 Ranger And Everest RWD Vehicles Built Between 11-May-2018 And 21-Nov-2018 – Windscreen Washer Reservoir Low Level Warning Lamp Not Displayed In The IPC
Some 2018 Ranger and Everest RWD vehicles may experience the windscreen washer reservoir low level warning lamp is not displayed in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) when the water level is low or empty. Should a vehicle present with the condition above, technicians are advised to perform an IPC Programmable Module Installation (PMI) using Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) release 22.5.2 or later. Please use service labor operation number 15P101 from the Service LaborTime Standards (SLTS) manual and refer to this SSM when completing a claim. Refer SSM: 48547.

Feb 5 2020 9507 - 2019 Ranger And Everest Vehicles Equipped With A 2.2L Or 3.2L (Puma) Engine - Coolant Leak From The EGR Valve - Water Inlet Manifold Inspection
Some 2019 Ranger and Everest vehicles equipped with a 2.2L or 3.2L (Puma) engine may present with coolant leaking from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve due to a dislodged EGR pipe. This may be caused by a water inlet manifold spigot that has not been machined correctly. Should a vehicle present with the abovecondition, technicians are advised to inspect the water inlet manifold spigot when replacing an EGR valve. For the water inlet manifold spigot inspection procedure please contact the Technical Assistance Centre (TAC). Please submit a detailed Electronic Dealer Service Report (EDSR) for all cases experienced where the water inlet manifold spigot was blocked. Refer SSM: 48524.

Feb 4 2020 9487 - 2019 Ranger And Everest Vehicles Equipped With A 2.0L (Panther) Engine And 10R80 Transmission - Loss Of Motive Power With DTC P0868 – TSB 19-2350 REINSTATED
Please be advised that TSB 19-2350, 10R80 Loss of Motive Power, has been reinstated. Engineering has been investigating isolated cases of repeat failure of thenew steel gears. Detailed investigation has attributed these rare repeat failures to either residual contamination from the initial gear failure or failure to carefully follow the gear replacement repair procedure detailed in the Workshop Manual (WSM). Dealers should ensure that correct repair procedures are followed including the use of all Special Service Tools (SST’s) where required and ensurethat all contamination has been removed from the transmission including any broken gear teeth. Please also ensure to reprogram the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to the latest service calibration using the latest level of FDRS. Refer SSM: 48508.
