Have just found the forefront silicone intake hose on the cold side rubs on the sleeved water hose immediately under it. Mine has rubbed through about 50% but still holds the wind in without leaks. Looking at the oem rubber intake hose, it comes with a small section of protectant sleeve in this area. Clearly the designers found this area as a rub point as both the oem coolant hose, and intake hose are insulated where they rub. Those that have replaced this hose with silicone may choose to inspect the underside of the silicone. Just down from the throttle body. I'll have a chat with Jamie tomorrow about getting this resolved. It's taken 56000km to rub through 50%. Relatively easy fix, just add a small piece of rubber or silicone sleeve where the two hoses rub. Cheers
