Hello all,
I’ve been modifying things on my ranger. And the remote is not functioning anymore. I’ve been trying to start the car with the key, no good!
Got into forscan again, dtcs saying low voltage!
What to do guys?

It's easy to run the battery down playing with Forscan, especially if you take a while sorting things out. If I know I'm going to be more than a say 5 or 10 minutes, I usually chuck the battery charger on just in case.
I suggest you charge the battery with a good battery charger first, then try again and see if that fixes the problem.

Managed to start it up. My remote ain’t functioning though. Got to key in to lock the truck. Is there any way to reprogram it through forscan?GerryP wrote:It's easy to run the battery down playing with Forscan, especially if you take a while sorting things out. I remembered that i reset the following on forscan:
PCM

to name a few, well i reset almost all modules.
A monkey remapped my truck and he messed it up.
Thank you for your help!

You might have to wait for Stewart to chime in as it may need to be redone using your vehicle's default or factory settings, which I believe are available using your vin number.
At least you have it running in the meantime.

Long story short, the truck is starting normally. I thought i caused a malfunction with the immobiliser. On the productivity screen, it shows 2 admin keys. However i can’t lock/unlock on both of the remotes. And when i lock through the door with the key, only driver side locks.
Thank you Stewart if you can help out.

Quick update. Managed to download the As Built files from Motorcraft. Loaded the files through forscan. Everything is working now. Thank you Gerry.
Much appreciated.
