Hi All,

This is my second crack at modding a ranger... hopefully a little more successful than my first...

My current vehicle is an auto 2018 PX2 Wildtrak in Ingot Silver. The mods have started early as I had a heap of aftermarket bits I had to take off my previous 2015 PX2 XLT dual cab when it developed a vibration over 100km/h and Ford wanted it back to stock before they would look at it. Long story short, 18 months of messing around I concluded that Ford Australia are the spawn of Satan and the car had to go. To their credit, the Canberra dealer I'd been going to came to the party and gave me a deal I couldn't resist which landed me in a newer, better ranger :)

So... after 2 weeks of owning the Wildtrak and 3500kms I've done:

- 2 inch lift at the rear using Ultimate Suspension leaves and Fox 2.0 shocks. The leaves would be around 150kg constants after I repacked them.
- 3 inch lift at the front using Fox 2.0 struts. I may end up changing to a softer coil and a spacer depending on how the ride pans out after I add everything else.
- DBA T2 slotted rotors at the front
- KMC Heist 17" wheels (35 offset from memory)
- BFG KO2's - 265/75/17

That leaves the following to install this weekend:
- Flexiglass Flexiedge canopy with lift-up side windows
- Grunt easy up tailgate struts
- OBD2 piggyback double adapter
- Redarc towpro elite
- Titan 1300mm rear drawers
- ARB Summit rear bar (once I get the wings painted silver instead of Azure Blue... I can't see those colours working together..)
- ARB side steps (same issue as the rear bar)
- Lightforce switch facia
- GME 3350 UHF
- Projector DC-DC charger for the second battery in the tub... I need to get a new battery box so have been looking at the Projector box with inverter as they seem pretty solid.

I'm also getting a GMF bull bar (with hoop but no integrated light as it won't work with the winch I have) which will let me add other left-overs:
- Domin8tor winch
- Stedi 3302 27" lightbar
- the aerial for the UHF

Apart from the new bull bar and battery box, I still need to get:
- 3D Maxtrax mats
- Provent 200 catch can
- Provent 150 ?? pre-filter
- a TJM snorkel (personal preference... I don't like the look of some of the others)

I'm also undecided about going for larger wheels & tyres (20" with 305's) as well as an ECU tune or piggyback like a Unichip so I can change the tune on the fly.

The forscan changes will be coming through thick and fast as soon as I get a cable sorted ;)

Hope that all makes sense.

Cheers,
Stoney
