Want to monitor Trans temp in a 2020 BiTurbo trend. Using a OBDLink MX+ device and view via Bluetooth using OBD Link app. What PID should I be using pls

Hi. Thanks for the info. When I go to the view topic and access the link I can’t see a transmission temp pid. I am missing something

In the PID Calculator click on Select PID then scroll down and select Transmission Fluid Temperature
Then Select Device and select OBDlink Ap

Hi just wondering if there are different equations for the 6 speed and 10 speed transmissions?
I’ve got a 2017 3.2L 6 speed Everest Titanium and have two different equations that produce a 10 degree difference in reading and wondering which one is correct for my vehicle.
I have added screen shots of the two equations and the simultaneous results.

Bottom one is incorrect as it changes imperial to metric.

Thanks Stewart, that makes sense.The second equation was the original one found last year when searching, I just found the equation in the first pic yesterday on the PID calculator and was intrigued by the variance

Not sure, I do not use the app but I think it would be accepted that all temps you use are in degree C and not F combination so see no reason to show it.
If it has temp in name then only use degrees C maths.

That’s cool, the standard Engine temp pid has the degrees c symbol after the temp value and my ocd wanted to get the same showing on the trans temp. I will learn to live with it lol. Thanks again for your help

I use an OBDlink and where it says "Metric Units" and "English Units" I put a C to get a Celcius reading

Thanks Ross, yeah I figured that out after an hour or two of googling lol
Where is everyone getting their battery voltage reading from? I tried the SAE PID for Module Voltage but I don’t get any reading, I have also tried using the from scan tool PID but I only seem to see a max of 13.7v and I’m wondering if that voltage is regulated somehow as I have smart charge turned off
